Texas woman killed in apparent DWI accident

A fatal DWI accident in Texas shakes families and communities alike. It is surely devastating to know that a life due to purely negligent or even reckless conduct and that it likely could have been easily prevented. A Texas woman was traveling along the Gulf Freeway at the time of the crash. Another vehicle came up next to her and crashed into her vehicle. Reports claim the driver who hit her was traveling at a high rate of speed. Unfortunately for the victim, neither her vehicle or body could withstand the impact.

Both were crushed at the scene of the crash. The driver who apparently caused this accident was suspected of driving while intoxicated, and she was formally charged. She faces a charge of intoxication manslaughter and was detained as against a $30,000 bond.

Tragedies such as this DWI accident happen daily on roadways in Texas and across the country, as sad as it is to say.
